Kari has been a successful professional trainer since 1988. She earned her Masters Degree in Animal Behavior, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Equine Science.
Kari specializes in relationship-based horse training, and centered riding instruction in all seats with all breeds. Her foundation in dressage follows classical principles. She enjoys success in applying these principles to transform even the most heavy, resistant horses into light, soft dressage partners. Kari's gentle training methods have been proven with wild horses and in re-training horses with severe behavior problems.
Kari can help teach you and your horse to communicate on a powerful level. She will emphasize building mutual communication based on the horse's natural behavior, to produce a safe, responsible partner.
She has experience showing on a National Championship level in dressage, hunt, western, driving, and halter. She was the 2008 and 2010 High Point Professional at the Rocky Mountain Regional Championship Andalusians shows.
